How to obtain API access
Public book search endpoints do not normally require a key. Identify your application using User-Agent and a contact address.
Never share account credentials or private API keys. Public example values are not reusable credentials.
Pricing, quotas and limitations
Default requests are limited to around 1/second, identified clients around 3/second. Not intended as a third-party bulk database or high-traffic backend.
